Question:

Writing a Letter of Complaint to MTA ?

I'm writing a letter of complaint to the Transit Authority about the route the express bus I use to get to work. A few months ago the Transit Authority changed the route claiming that it was done in order to provide faster service and avoid traffic and construction along the East Side. But the new route, is very unpopular with communters and always runs into more traffic than the old route ever did even with the construction. Who can write to in order to convince them to bring back the old route ?

  1. It might be impossible.

In past, I suggested via E-mail that some ltd bus should operate early service for NYC Marathon, but they never done it.

Another suggestion I made was put limited on Q60 along Queens Blvd, but they never considered.

By the way, what express bus route are you refering to?

[Recommendation - send these "Return receipt requested" that way they have to be signed for and you know that they got them.]

It wouldn't hurt to send a copy to the Daily News, as well as your local elected officials.
