  1. 1. learn how to spell.

    2. plan your story, characters, etc.

    3. write first draft of story

    4. revise

    5. revise

    6. revise

    7. revise

    8. revise

    9. revise even more

    10. NOW you can even start to think about publishing

just start writing before you even consider publishing. and yes, you really do need to edit that much. didn't anyone ever tell you that writing is about 80% revision? trust me, your first draft's going to suck. even the classic authors' first drafts probably sucked too.

so why are they so great today? because they edited their work. a lot.

    the lesson here? edit.

  2. One of the fastest ways to write your book and get access to a New York publisher is by using a system that has already worked for other people.  This system works. It will help you organize, write, and publish your book as quickly as possible

I wrote my books using a process which has worked for many entrepreneurs. The process focuses on you writing your book in just a few hours and being able to get it read by a New York publisher.

I also learned how to use this book to start building my business.

  3. Darling, write the book first.  THEN worry about publishing.  And when/if you do publish, you should get an agent.  Please do me a favor though, and don't go down the boy-meets-girl-they-fall-in-love teen fiction thing?  It's so overused and boring, and there are a million other things to write about.
