Question:

Writing a book about my life in past is this a good idea how would i start?

well basically I'm thinking of writing a book about my life and what ive been threw growing up going from falling out with my first love causing anorexia,eating disorder to finding out my brother was schizophrenia to him nearly dieing.. and then so on...i feel writing a book will help me deal with my past what do you think?

  1. Well, I think you should go ahead and try it, especially if you think it'll help you cope. Everyone has something interesting to share, and what you've said so far seems really interesting to me. And not many people know what it's like to deal with a family member with schizophrenia. If you've experienced depression, maybe you could use your autobiography to help others, or even others with an eating disorder. You know, maybe there's a chance you'll discover something about yourself along the way of writing about your experiences, or maybe you'll see there might have been a good purpose for something that's happened. I'd try to write about some good times too. And write about how you truly felt. Maybe read some other peoples' autobiographies for ideas.  

    I don't really know much about starting books, but I guess I'd just start with a basic outline of the events that stand out the most, and gradually add on smaller events to make the outline a little more detailed.
