Writing a story...cost of meth?

I'm writing a story and one of the characters is a meth junkie. I'm wondering how much crystal meth costs? If anyone knows the cost in relation to how much you buy, and the units used, that would be really helpful. Thank you xoxoxo

im guessing a lot like in 100's of $ per gram cuz, those junkies are usually broke.

My sister use to be an addict, and the way I use to hear her over the phone when she makes her "calls" is she uses the amount of money as the amount of meth she wanted. Meaning "I want 20/40/60", I believe they only go by 20s, I heard her refer to a large amount once as a "T" which I think is $60-$80 worth. A 20 sack is in this tiny baggy thats the amount of the tip of your pinky finger. $40's double that. hope this helps.
