Writing a story??????????

Question

im writing a story and for the main character, she has brown hair and caramel brown eyes, and she is a leader, everyone at school LOVES her. she is very michevious. she has an uptight older sister and an annoying younger sister. i have everything planned out for her, but i cant seem to choose the perfect name for her.

here are my choices. feel free to add more or make changes.

-Massie (mass-ee) yeah ik its from the clique series but i like that name for some reason.

Out of your choices I like Lilly.

But your story seriously sounds like my daughters. I have 3 of them. The middle one is Brianna, and she's mischevious to her core, but all the kids at school like her. Then she has an older sister that thinks everything has to be her way, and her name is Haley. And then they have a sister that is the baby of the bunch who they think is the most annoying kid ever and she's Madeline aka Maddy. Just so funny your story sounds like my kids.

not alicia,claire, or massie because that's like the clique series. i like Lilly i guess out of your list. i think Marina would be a good name also.

I like Carly.  That name fits her, and I know a person named Carlie who fits the description to a T.  So use that one lol

Ok, let's see, I'm narrowing it down by what sounds good with the other siblings.  I love making the characters in my books too.  I've picked for narrowing down: Ammy, Charlotte, Emmy, & Lilly.  If you do Abby I wouldn't do Ammy, Emmy or Lilly.  Charlotte would work though.  And if you go with Alexis, I'd go with Ammy or Lilly, but I do still like Charlotte.  So in the end, I like Charlotte.  But I left you with severl choices.  Enjoy.

Massie is perfect! It fits a typical brown haired brown eyed girl who is a leader and whom everyone loves. Mischievous is perfect too because everyone knows sassy rhymes with Massie. Lol. I just thought of that!

If you want her to sound like she's in a real school somewhere, I would go with a name that someone conceivably would have called a baby girl about 15 years ago.  Your other sisters' names are perfect--Valerie was popular in the early 90's and Abby or Alexis in the late 90's, so it'd be weird to see an Emmy or Tavia be the middle / awesome sister.

My vote is for Carli with an i, because you get away from the Carly Simon namesake that way, but it still resonates.  You won't forget a protagonist named Carli.

carly sounds like that kind of person, the leader who everybody loves but secretly hate.....im sorry but thats how im seeing it....shes just a girl who is so popular at school, is so focused on her own problems that she sees her older sister as an uptight b*tch and her younger sister as just a burden to carry around when her parents ask her to babysit.

Never use names from popular series though, especially since they seem to be in the same genre. Alicia and Claire are okay (not my favorites but common so people probably won't think of the clique), but when people read Massie, they'll definitely think Clique.

I like Keely, Raquel and Lyssie too.

Hmmm... mischievious and a leader. Sounds like a Massie. Even though I haven't read the Clique books. The name Ana kind of suits her. Charlotte does a little. So does Alicia. Maybe Lucy. Not Emmy. But Ana sounds too short, maybe that should be her nickname. But you know, Alicia goes with the names Valerie and Abby/Alexis.
