Writing an Invitation Letter- How do I introduce very special guests?

I'm writing an invitation letter to send out to some industry folks to ask them to come to the grand opening of a new computer lab that we are opening. CEO's from some computer companies will be there, and I need to say this in the invitation.

So far, this is what I have written:

"Among some of the special guests who will be joining us in celebrating this momentous occasion are:"

(and then I list their names and titles)

Does this sound right? What are some other ways to introduce these folks?
