Writing an entertainment blog?

Question

hi I have started an entertainment blog today and have already exceeded 300 views!

I was wondering though as I am talking about say Britains Got Talent... am I allowed to put a pictur of the logo or act next to my story about it ? or do I need somesort of permission... and if so how do i get the permision ?

You could just write a disclaimer on your blog, in defence of why you used the photos, and also write at the end, where you got the photos from i.e -  

Photos:  Howabouthatdotcom

Puting a picture is fine. Just make sure you say where you got the picture from and what it is. That's copyright.

I'm not a lawyer, but my advice would be to do whatever you want as long as you're not portraying the brand negatively.

If you're being respectful to the brand, they probably won't care if you use their logo. Even if they do decide you can't use the logo, chances are they'll just send you a Cease & Desist letter and hope you comply. Actually suing you would cost way more than it's worth.
