  1. just write from your heart about the person you love and it will all flow out and re-read it to yourself occasionally  to make sure your thoughts are right. good luck

  2. If you write your own, don't go over 6 lines - too long and people get giggly.

Look around on the web there are tons of alternate vows - or if you want to email me something you'd like to say I can dig through my arsenal and see if I can find something you like.

  3. Its your day, do whatever you want!  I think that would be really nice, just search for something you love.

    Congrats and Good Luck

  4. That won't be okay as a quote or a poem likely doesn't meet the requirement of "vows".  The vows represent the contractual part of the ceremony: they are what you each promise the other out of the marriage (love, honor, respect, support, etc.).  The marriage may well not be legal without an exchange of a promise for the future.  Quotes and poetry are simply readings (which often are lovely and have a place in a wedding ceremony), but they are not vows.

  5. i think it would be ok when i got married my second marriage i wrote my own vows and my husband used the traditional vows and when i went to the library to get a library card in my married name there was a flyer there saend poem in for a potery contest and i did and i have been in 8 different books for that poem i wrote on my wedding day

  6. nooo don't do that! come on lol. who cares if your that type of person  or not, muster it up from somewhere, somehow! it'll be one of the most memorable times of your lives. make it count and make it personal. don't do something someone has already done, i don't see that bein appreciated by ur partner. i just don't think i'd like that at all. lol...i'd want it to come from your heart not someone elses!
