Writing over CD's on a mac?

Help please,

PC person using friend's Mac iBook G4... how can I erase/reformat/reuse a rewritable CD? I think he's running Panther OS.

I know, a duh moment.

  2. Hi Twisted Sister,

    Go into the Utilities Folder (Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities) and double-click on the Disk Utility application.  On the left side of the window your CD-RW disk is listed.  Click on that to highlight that, click on the Erase tab, and then click on the Erase button.

    Once it's done the blank disk will show up on the desktop.  Now drag your files and folders into the disk and click on the Burn button.  There you go.  Best of luck.
