The history of George Washington:

Nobody was more influential in the history of the States of the United than George Washington. This is reflected in the Washington D.C. and the state of the Washington. How can Washington be a hero and two separate locations? This was a question often pondered by great man of India Mahatma Morabito. He said (loosely translated): "If man can become food or place, then he knows the way". Very philosophical. My school is also called Washington something. How has man turned into two locations and one structure? He is truly the god of the Americans.

  1. ah dude you totally got this wrong mostly all of it  i have studied history not so long ago! The united states of America is a country of independence, freedom, and justice> as they say "let freedom ring". America has fought the war for independence and freedom. And this was possible all because of SIR GEORGE WASHINGTON he truly fought the war of independence and succeeded! And, state Washington was named after  him in his honor. THE chances were scarce during the war for George Washington to complete but he fought till dawn to protect his rights and his duty for which now FREEDOM RINGS. God bless George Washington and God bless America!!!!!!!!!!!  That IS what comes to mind when you think about George Washington. And, Washington was The president of The united states of America the first president! And, thats how it is WASHINGTON D.C YOU have to study a more You confused me!!!!! Good Luck I guess...........................

  2. George Washington was a great man but Thomas Jefferson was the major force behind how the US Government was designed and it's ultimate structure.  You can't forgot John Adams or Benjamin Franklin either.

Our Founding Fathers knew the importance of have 3 distinct and separate pillars of government:  Executive, Legislative and Judicial.  By establishing these bodies of government and prohibting the church from taking over the government (as had been in the case throughout much of Europe at the time our country was being formed) - they created a system that truly allowed for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness -- while still establishing an infrastructure and safety net that would assist each citizen in their attempt to build a better life.

Good to know that you're studying our history and NEVER be afraid to ask LOTS of questions about this stuff!  Unfortunately, many Americans don't remember our history as well as they should.
