Writing up of a case study; help me out if you can please.?

I am writing up my first proper case studies for my current course of study. Can someone explain to me how to write a good abstract?

Is it just the same as an introduction in a standard essay,or does it go beyond that?

Should I write it as "I intend to do this..." then follow with the case study details, or should I write is more like a conclusion "I did this..."?

Any useful help appreciated.

    Mas gosto da Inglaterra...

  2. An abstract should essentially summarize the entire case study.  It can have a sentence or two of background info from your introduction.  A very brief description of the study/how you did it. It should also contain your results.  It shouldn't EXPLAIN your results though. Again, it should summarize your case study with the most important information without explaining the information.

  3. It depends on the topic i suppose but a case study may sound more pro if you say you did something, like you say; a conclusion!

    GOOD LUCK!
