ok so last semester was my first for attending college! after signing up for classes i realized i had to drop one because i didn't have the pre requs! ok so i went to the advising center to get some help! i ended up taking a 300 level geography class because it was the only one that fit in my schedule! the person who helped me out was the one who signed me up! ok so i talk to the professor and he said that its ok that i take his class even tho i havent taken a lower level geography class.. i go all semester... come end of semester i have a different geography class on my solar acct and a failing grade! i know i did not sign up for that class and never saw it before then. and my Geog class wasnt there... so no grade!

today i went to the advising center to see what was up and they told me that i have to write a letter of appeal! and stand in front of the committee and state my case!! im very nervous about this! and i want to write a decent letter.. but do not know how really! ive never had to appeal anything before! any suggestion on what i could say/write to state my case clearly and effectively?? i would really like some help here... i feel so confused!

  1. Ask the professor and/or teaching assistant in your 300 geography course to vouch for your grade. Also ask the advisor who signed you up to clear the mistake.
