Wrong monitor langage?

Question

When my PC monitor goes to sleep, it tells me its doing so in the wrong language. it should be in english, but it must have gotten changed and im not even familar with the language its using. im not noticing this on any other part of my computer, just the monitor. any idea how to fix it?

its a compaq 5017

press Select button on Monitor

three buttons on the monitor at the middle

leftmost is Select

middle one is Left adjuster

to the right is the Right adjuster

When you press the select button it gives you the OSD (On Screen Display menu) on it are lot of options ,just toggle using right and left adjuster to Languages and change it to English.

go to control panel(switch to classic menu from right pane option)> Regional and Languages options

open it, make sure language is English(us) on Regional options.

go to Languages tab and click on Details, make sure you have english selected in there too.

go to Advanced tab and make sure English is selected in that tab too.

if problems reply with exact error.
