Wrong of me as a group moderator?

I have a question about running my group, Im an owner and i have members that have unfilled out profiles yes "yahoo it self dose not require that your profile be filled out" but in my group i do and the reason being is because most spammers dont have a filled out profile and i want to keep as many out as i can is it wrong for me to do that? is it against yahoo policy to request that.

It's up to you although it may be a little strict.  With my groups  all first posts  are moderated.  Sometimes I leave them that way for a couple of posts then if they seem o.k. I remove the moderation.  If they don't seem o.k. I ban them. That works for me.

Stick with it because it's your group and your not breaking any of Yahoo's rules and reg's

it's not against TOS to request that, and many groups do however keep in mind any old info can be placed in a profile to make it look good.

the best way to combat spammers is a restricted memebrship group, moderated new members posts and hide the members list from the members of the group.
