Wrong speeding fine in Melbourne..??..Has it happened to you??

Just wandering if anyone else has ever recieved a speeding fine in the mail that was NOT yours?.

I recieved 1 in the mail Thursday fining me for being 30 km from home,but get this it was at 6:15 in the morning...

I can say it was'nt me,i have 2 kids who are still sound asleep at that time of the morning-So am i ..LOl

So has this ever happened to you?

How did you fight it?....

You should be able to make a statutory declaration to the effect that you were not in your car and driving at that time and that your car was safely garaged at your home at that time. You should also request a copy of the speed camera photograph - if it wasn't your car, this should be obvious from the photo.

I sometimes wonder what those idiots do to get this wrong when they have the picture.
