Wrong stamp type of Visa?

Question

Immigrant staff at the airport has taken wrong stamp visa to my friend. My friend get a J-1 visa showing in her passport but when she arrived at the airport in Dellas, the staff stamped F-1 instead J-1 in I-94 document

She needs help.

Can u recommend my friend about this?

You friend can contact the nearest CIS office or Service Center.  They can check the computer and do whatever is necessary to correct any problems.
