Human beings like you and me. Still not convinced? Ok, listen carefully, inhabitants of Pakistan are called Pakistanis. Still not convinced, well pakistan is in the north west of India. Now you know what India is . Is it not ?

As a citizen of the UK,and(proudly)from Co Durham, i must speak as i find. All of the Pakistan people i have met,have all been in full time employment,and are hard workers. Most are more civilised,than some of our own countrymen. This is not a judgement,only my humble opinion. Hope this is of help to you, Regards:

i dont believe anyone should judge a person due to ethnic background, cuz every culture has its pros and cons, u cant just say u have someone just because they are from a certain cultural background. that is no way to jusdge a person, the only way you can truely jugde someone os by getting to no them

i am pakistani(well my parents are), and i can honestly say we are hard working and honest people. i live in texas, and go to a very liberal school in UT. i love my pakistani family. most of them are conservative(more so extended family) and moderately into religion, while i am liberal and more so agnostic. though we have different ideals, we treat each other with respect all the time, and never have a problem hearing each other out on any issue. my whole family including 2nd and 3rd cousins live in america btw.

Pakistanis are just like any other culture,there are good ones and some bad. I have been to Pakistan four times and I was always treated with the utmost respect. I have been married to a Pakistani man for 27years and have many Pakistani friends. We have six kids. They are very hard workers and are very family oriented. They teach their children to be respectful especially of their elders. You couldn't ask for a better friend.

Sadly, I think that the issues in Pakistan are going to get worse before they get better. As I understand it Pakistan is an amalgam of different ethnic groups. Some of them are intellectually lazy and let the leaders of the madrassas do their thinking for them. Or some of them are uneducated and vulnerable to  the Pakistani Taliban or Al Qaeda because they don't have the intellectual wherewithal to resist them. They may not even know that they should resist them. The Pakistanis I've met here in the US have been intelligent, thoughtful, and industrious.

I feel Pakistanis are a mixture of good and bad people and needless to say that this mixture exists in all parts of the world as well. Unfortunately, the bad people have puffed up Pakistans image to their level leaving others think the country is devoid of good people.

I lived in Pakistan for five years.  The vast majority of Pakistanis are decent, respectful, industrious, and honest people.  Their hospitality is second to none.  Unfortunately the country has had issues with corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.  Pakistan Zindabad!

good n bad people are there every where...how can u relate that to a nation..

i mean can u tell me how exactly others think about people in yr family?? its not possible...they might be good to somebody and bad to some others...it all depends on how u think...

and when it comes to the good and bad things that u do...again its individual thing...it cannot be generelised to a nation as a whole...

Well, I am not a Pakistani. But I was born in India. I have 2 Pakistani friends, and they are very nice honest people. To all who has never read into Indian or Pakistani history here is a little history lesson from me. Pre- 1947 when India gained her independence from the British East India company headquartered at what is now known as Kolkata, India and Pakistan was the same country. It's just that after the partition the people of Bharat was given a choice so as not to have wars between it's many Muslim and Hindu sects,the majority Muslim folks chose to occupy the North Western part of land (some say a part of Punjab) and Pakistan was created, whilst Hindus got to keep the majority of what is now India. Bangladesh was made into East Pakistan since that was majority Muslim. The only real difference between a Pakistani and an Indian is that Pakistan is predominantly Muslim, where as India is predominantly Hindu. Otherwise we are the same people, with the same cultural and ancestral background.  And no I do not hate Pakistanis, although I do hate the government, cause thanks to political c**p my uncle and many others like him are still languishing in Pakistani jails some 40 plus years after the 1965 Indo-Pak wars. And the Indian government too corrupt and lazy to do anything about it and bring these brave men back to their families! dedicated to the 54 Indian POW's still being held in Pakistan's Kot Lakhpat jail and similar places -CNN News Special Buletin Apr 2006.
