A Rave is a huge party with plenty of teenagers and a DJ spins blasting Trance music.  The demographic is mostly caucasian, middle-class, teens.  Teenagers "rave" a.k.a spin to Trance with glow-sticks and are sometimes seen with pacifiers (with drugs) and extravagant clothing (caffeine, UFO, etc)such as huge, baggy pants, pink-dyed hair or wigs, love bracelets and bright colors in general.  At the Raves there is usually alcohol and/or the drug of choice: ecstasy and is very easily available.  The act of tripping/taking drugs at a Rave is called "rolling".  Many teens that participate in Raves are completely sober and go mainly for the excitement of meeting new people and jumping uncontrollably to their music of choice (Trance).
