I think Morrison is a wayyyyyyyy overrated player.  His only glory year came because he was lucky enough to play between Bertuzzi and Naslund.  Since then he has been an underachiever and is not exactly known for his work ethic either.  For his salary the canucks can aquire some far better assets.

they didnt get rid of him... he left because he didnt want to come back... the canucks offered him just as much money as anaheim did.

I know...it like next season it's going to be all the new guys playing. I'm not a big fan of it.

But altleast we can get some good players now.

I guess they got rid of him because he was injured most of the season, and when he came back got injured again :P
