Wud it be easier to level trapinch to lvl 45 insted of letting it evolve?

i jus assume that sice its a bug type at this point it might be easier but yeh any help on the matter is appreciated

First of all Trapich is a ground type. Second off the only good move trapich learns if you do not evolve him is dig. I only know this because I tryied to expolt his area trap to catch Latios it did not work. Best advice let him evovle so he grow stronger.
