Chile vs Chinese Taipei
Jung-Hsing Liu
After a dismal performance in their last game, the Chinese Taipei played as a team against Chile and shooting guard, Jung, was on hand to score 17 points and gather 8 rebounds.
I-Hsiu Cheng
Cheng supported Jung, as Chinese Taipei comfortably won against the home side. Cheng collected 14 points and 7 rebounds to add to her tournament tally.
Francisca Rojas
No Chilean player was able to make it past the 10 point mark. Small forward Francisca Rojas provided the best contribution with 9 points and 3 rebounds.
Canada vs Japan
Wumi Agunbiade
The Canada-Japan game saw quite a few players perform.  Power forward Wumi led the way as she nailed 21 points, plucked 10 rebounds and was 4 out of 4 from the free throw line.
Michelle Plouffe

Damiris Dantas
 Although Brazil lost, their centre, Damiris, produced a memorable performance with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals. Her effort helped Brazil stay in touch with France’s, but it was eventually not enough to surpass them.
Australia vs Spain
Gretel Tippett
The Aussies produced a true team effort against Spain on Tuesday. Amongst the more influential players was Gretel Tippett, the Australian centre, who gathered 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Astou Ndour
The defeat of the Spanish side somewhat overshadowed an outstanding effort by Astou Ndour, the Spanish centre. Her powerful performance consisting of 17 points and 13 rebounds (including 10 defensive rebounds) almost helped her
team get past Australia.
Laura Gil
Another Spanish centre made a worthy contribution for her team by hitting home 14 points and seizing 7 rebounds.
