  1. The Grand National is a huge, challenging steeplechase. It is in Ireland, not England. Many horses and riders fall and it is a test for bravery and stamina, not to mention speed.

  2. "The Grand National is the most valuable National Hunt handicap horse race in the United Kingdom. It is the biggest betting race in the United Kingdom, and is popular amongst many people who do not normally watch or bet on horse racing at other times of the year."

  3. Right Here

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Natio...

  4. It's held in England, at Aintree....... there are also races called the welsh national, the scottish national and yes the irish national.

But the Grand National is the big one, the premier steeplechase in the world, a true sporting event which the whole of the british isles will be watching tomorrow, this race is amazing, find a channel which is showing, sit back and enjoy 40 horses from many different countries (mainly UK, ireland and France)going over crazy jumps at top speeds! well worth a little bet as the favourite is usually 10-1!!!
