i use aspen shavings as its pretty and easy to spot clean

I use carefresh for all of my animals (redtail boas, python and the lizards. If it gets in their mouth during feeding time - no worries - as it is digestable. Hope this helps!

I generally use newspaper or cypress mulch depending on the setup. The cypress mulch is better for keeping humidity levels up in glass display tanks. Newspaper works great in plastic tubs where humidity isn't usually a problem.

I always use newspaper for all my snakes. It is so much easier to clean up their messes. Also if you use anything else like mulch, sometimes you wont know if your snake has urinated or not and you wont clean out the cage because you think it's clean and then it will mildew and that is not healthy on your pet. Always use newspaper.

Aspen shavings thats what I use for my ball its the best. Does not carry any parasites.
