than to put a rookie at v.p. would it not have been smarter, that being an issue, to put obama in the v.p. slot and biden in as pres?and if mccain did pass, she would appoint a v.p. with all the necessary skills. i say it is a non issue. if obama can be pres surley palin can be a v.p.

  1. Ya i don't understand the argument that you shouldn't vote for McCain because of his VP is inexperience but then Obama himself has arguably less experience than Palin. It is dumb for them to even bring that up.

  2. Liberals are just running out of ideas, that's why you hear it all the time.

  3. Being POTUS (president of the united states) is on the job training because only 42 people in the entire world have served in the office over the last 200+yrs.  It is a non issue.  The main thing is to have some sort of management experience before vying for the office, so you don't end up s******g up the country anymore than what is already screwed up.

  4. obama 09 woohooo socialism

  5. Depends... Biden is an insider... He does little to strengthen the ticket because of the sheer amount of time in Washington.

People vote for the candidate that they have the largest emotional attraction too.  Early on this was Obama... He made a big mistake in my opinion when he picked Biden because it made him appear to be more of the same.... McCain's pick of Palin is ideal because the average person will connect with her.  The more they attack, the more of an emotional attachment that average person will get to her...

  6.   I find it very hypocritcal to scream your for change, then select an "inside the beltway elitest as VP, then put down somebody who actually picked someone who has a PROVEN record for change.

  7. at 72, beleive me, there is a good chance Palin would become President if McCain died.  It scares me her only political experience is running a town of less tha 8,500 people and governing a state of less than 800,000 people for less than 2 years.

  8. According to Obama, he has more executive experience than Palin because he's been running a campaign!

  9. Biden couldn't get elected at the top spot.  He couldn't even get anywhere NEAR being nominated.  But Obama has a level of training and experience that compares favorably to another man from Illinois, Abraham Lincoln (2 years in the HOUSE in the 1840's!).

  10. you've got that right.

  11. Well...to be honest...I don't view either one of them as "rookies"

the whole experience argument failed. Neither side can use it anymore.
