  1. If it was engine oil and you put it in the engine, you should have no real worries. The recommended oil is basically there to optimize engine wear and fuel economy. 5w-20 is preferred but 10w-30 will not harm it, as an example.


  2. Dude, quit screwin around, just change it!

    footnote: My son just trashed me for being so short w/my answer to you.  So...

    It would shorten the life of your engine, especially if the oil grade was too thin and the temp where u live very hot.  Sorry.  Good luck.

  3. As long as it's multigrade oil, nothing.

    If it's a similar grade (ie 10w/30 instead of 5w/30), just leave it in. If not, just drain & refill it.
