Question

ive submitted poems here and there for about a year on this site, bu ti just recently got an email saying they would like to read a poem of mine at a convention in las vegas

there is a fee like 160 or something and they said i get a medallian and an achievment in poetry award.

anyone know anything about this??

poetry.com is the biggest scam of all time. Of course they will take your poem--No offense they will take just about anything, because they charge you money to buy the book or whatever they claim. You should never be charged to publish a poem. Most real places charge an entry fee to there contests--and if you do it shouldnt be much more than 15-20 bucks

massive money making scam, a friend of mine has purposley sent in really bad written poetry, and they offer to publish it and they send him emails to come to Las Vegas and purchase their books and everything

They will print sh*t on a stick if it means they make money.

It's scam my friend.......don't believe it.

they are known to be one of the best money makers. once they use to send me mails saying that the same they told you. they even went to the end to say that i am the poet they were waiting. after i mailed back saying that i don't have even a penny, they stopped contacting the poet they were waiting for a life time. lol.

and if your poems are good, then money shall come to you and not the other way.

OK, I did that web site when I was in 5th grade, and all they want is your money. Supposedly all of my poems were going to be in there book, all I had to do is pay for it. That never happened....................
