  1. Chinese medicine typically view acid reflux as an abnormal Qi flow caused by Liver Qi Stagnation. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs treat acid reflux especially well, because they get to the root of the problem. Antacids are seen to cause Stomach Food Stagnation, and can cause severe diseases.

  2. Liquid chlorophyll and pineapple every day help to promote a healthy digestive environment.

  3. I hope this helps.  A lot of problems come from how/what we eat and combine our foods together. Let me explain.

It was the first time I cooked dinner for my then-boyfriend.  I didn’t know it back then, but my own cure began with a question from this man who would later become my husband(Mike)

Shortly after we met, I made dinner for him and he asked if it would be alright if he didn't eat one of the foods I had prepared.  He said it all looked wonderful, but that the combination would give him a stomach ache. I didn't know what he meant, since nothing was fried and no hot spices were used.

It was then that he asked me the question that literally changed my life forever!

Mike asked me, “Have you heard of food combining?”

My immediate answer was "no" I hadn't heard of it. Even though it wasn't anything new, and had been endorsed by many health experts, peak performance experts and celebrities and more - I really had never heard of FOOD COMBINING.

After hearing about how "mis-combining" leads to acidosis, acid-reflux, heartburn and a host of other digestive problems, I had my first "properly combined" meal...

And I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPTOMS WHATSOEVER!

    NO PAIN!  NOTHING!

    That’s right...

        NO cramps

        NO bloated stomach

        NO excessive gas

        NO ‘IBS’

        NO acid reflux

        NO constipation

        NO running to the bathroom

        NO horrendous pain

Can you imagine how relieved I felt after all those years? If you have ever suffered any of these symptoms, even mildly, you will understand why I was wild with joy!

  4. A number of herbs and homeopathic remedies can be used for this disorder e.g. slippery elm. Online advice at link below ...

  5. First before you treat acid reflux you need to determine if you are hypo or hyperchlorhydic (too much or too little stomach acid) - i know it sounds a bit crazy but a lot of people that have reflux actually have low stomach acid.  You need a certain amount of HCl (stomach acid) to tell your pyloric sphincter to close properly, however if you have too little HCl this spincter doesn't close and then the little bit of HCl you do have creeps up your esophagus and can create discomfort (acid reflux).  Most people (especially people with a lot of stress) actually have low stomach acid.  What you can do to determine this is to take a tsp of apple cider vinegar in water about 15 minutes before each meal.  This helps to stimulate your bodies own production of HCl to help break your food down and close that spincter properly.  If you notice your reflux gets better then you probably have low stomach acid and should continue this for a while.  If the reflux gets worse then discontinue and look into other therapies (such as slippery elm as mentioned previously)....Good luck!

  6. Yes supplement yourself with Probiotics (friendly bacteria for the digestive tract) + take Spirulina + Chlorella tablets (blue green sea algae) or if you don't mind the taste, (I personally love to mix them in my vegetable juice) get the powder form and take them 30 mins before B-fast.......try to cut down on sugar (sugar is your worst enemy) and refined Carbohydrates........+ do a little exercise a few times a week..

Do not drink fizzy drinks & try not to take those horrible antiacids that tend to worsen the symptoms over time..

    Good Luck
