Clean your cache, the link above tells you how

Run a anti-virus scan, there are free ones on the web to download AVG is free and a good one

    And restart your computer

Now, after all this is done, your computer should be running nice and you can go to your 360 and check if this help you out.

If not then it is fair to say , your computer is OK.

So the problem you are having is none of your fault.

Yahoo is in transition getting the new social network ready and updating their system. This is causing the bugs.

Yahoo is not fixing the bugs because they are putting all their resources into getting the new network ready

Some of these bugs come and go. Some may last for days. And as hard as it seems we need to work around these bugs and hope the new network hurry up and get here.

  2. This sounds like a recent glitch that many people are experiencing, where the mailbox and/or the Top Page comment module is busted except for specific periods of the day.

This is not a case where you should keep trying fruitlessly to delete messages, add comments or send invitations. It has nothing to do with your computer system either.

You will see old messages and comments any other time of the day, no matter what you do because at those other times the mailbox or comment box is malfunctioning. You can try deleting comments/messages and it may appear successful, but it will likely return the next day at certain times. Also, when the mailbox is messed up you can't see invitations or send invitations as that is actually considered a message.

You can't fix the glitch, but you MAY be able to work around it.

You will just have to use the comment box and mailbox only at the specific times for when they are working properly. In other words, FIRST you will have to visit your 360 at various times of the day to see when the mailbox & top page are working. Once you figure out the time periods, then you know that you can use your mailbox/invitations/top page comments at those times each day. Then at that time, you should delete messages in your inbox, sent, and outstanding messages folders. If those folders get full, then you will definitely be unable to send messages until they are cleared.

Yet if you are able to send an invitation, but the invitation recipient has the same problem that you do, then they won't receive the invitation unless they check their 360 mailbox at the right time. It works in the reverse too. If you haven't figured out when the mailbox is working, then obviously you can't accept invitations either.

With all that said, there's no guarantee that your mailbox or Top Page comments will work at any point in the day. But at least you can TRY to check it out, just in case. For me, it works between 4am and 10am CST.

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. It likely will not be called 360 anymore, so yes, it's closing in a sense. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about those.
