Wy silencer of tractor is vertical ? and why is it in front of driver.,.while other vehicles have opposite????

it's behind other vehicles 'cause when you go fast, the exhaust would blow back in your face.

on a tractor, there's no benefit to piping it all the way to the back cause who knows which way the winds gonna blow while you're plowing.

But they do pipe it up over your head, so ya don't have to breathe exhaust all day.
