I'm not sure why it's not working for you, but it is alerting me when it appears as though I have a spelling error and gives a prompt to activate it.

I was wondering too, then it popped up in a little box on the right as I was typing ("Oops! It looks like you have 1 misspelling(s)").  

It didn't like it when I answered a math question which used a lot of brackets, points and things ("Hmm...it looks like you have a lot of punctuation"), and it didn't like when I put a word in CAPITALS (asked me if I left the caps lock on).

I'm still trying to decide whether to be annoyed by all this, or just think it could be helpful!
