X-Men Poster? When To Sell It?

I have a X-men poster that is signed but i'm not a big x-men fan so i should probably sell it but i was wondering if the price will increase greatly over time. I was told that it is currently worth around $250 .

  1. Sometimes when a person's ability to create that signature, due to illness or by fatality, the price of an autograph has known to rise. However it is almost only specific to items that can be proved to have  been signed by 'that someone'.

    Autographed items that can be authenticated may earn a premium. If you have no proof that a signature was actual made by the person who has said to have signed it, that signature and the item may be close to worthless. Someone who is expected to pay a high price for a specific item, may no buy an item without proof. Personally, I would never purchase an autographed item without being able to authenticate it.
