X-PERT DVDMAKER USB2.0

Question

I have a X-Pert DVD MAKER USB 2.0 which I use in my computer with a Windows XP operating system and all 4 functions (TVR, MPEG Encoder, Video Editor and Burn DVD) operate. I installed the X-Pert DVD MAKER USB 2.0 to my new Toshiba P205-S6307 Laptop using Windows Vista operating system but the TVR does not function or cannot be detected. What could be the problem.
