X-box 360 Live Question.?

ok so i'm gonna get a xbox 360 pro and i want the xbox live. I know you gotta pay like 50 bucks for the 12 months right? Also the if i connect my 360 to a pc that is connected to dsl internet will that work? also will wireless routers work for xbox pro's?

You have to connect it to a modem, so connecting it to the pc wouldn't work
