X-box 360 live question?

I am thinking of buying a x-box 360 live. It is used and about $200 dollars. All that comes with it is one controller. I want it for Halo 3, but what do I need to play online. I have a computer with dsl. But how do I connect that with the x-box. What all do i need to play online, and how much is all this stuff?

A router with your computer, and a ethernet cable. The router will be about 40 if you dont have one, and the cable depends on the length, around 30, and then finally an xbox live gold membership, which is 50 dollars. So about 120 dollars ish. Depending on what you need.

You wll have to buy x-box live. You can get it for a month, 3 months, etc. It depends on how much you want to spend. As long as you have a computer with the internet, you plug the ethernet cord into the back of the x-box and make sure you have bought x-box live. after that, you can play for as long as you have bought it for. I think a 30 day pass is about 20 dollars and a 3 months might be around 75. I hope this helps
