X-ray tech in the army

once i complete this in the army do i get a certificate, so i can get a job in the civillian world? and if i do not, do i have to challenge the x-ray boards in california or in whatever state i reside in?

  1. All your training in the Military will or should transfer over to the civilian world.  

    What might happen.... the boards for each state will vary slightly.  They might require you to take a few additional classes in order for you to work as a x-ray tech in the civilian world.  

    Bottom line, you have a good jump on things.

    What you should do, While you are still in the Army, contact the state board and see what they require.  The education benefits you are eligible for while you are in or even the GI Bill Benefits will pay for the additional education needed.  

    Don't stop with just getting your certificate.  Go as high as you can with your education while you are still young.
