XBOX 360 account help?

So a while back i joined Xbox LIVE and i created a new account and my old one had 8,000 gamerscores and now my Xbox LIVE account only has 4,000 and i want to know if anyone knows how to convert one profile over to another one or if it is even possible.

    I am very sorry but this is an impossible task. The only way to do this is to delete your current account, go back to your old one, buy a new membership and then change the name to your recently deleted account.

    Microsoft has disallowed any transferring of Gamerscore or DLC over profiles. Sorry.
