ok im very new at x box live im trying to get it setup but i can get a conncetion from my router but it sys something about ip addres im useing a netgear router can any one help me thNks

The IP address has to do with your internet provider

Give them a call to help you out

you need to assign the 360 a ip address thats not in use EXAMPLE: 192.168.1.6

then go to your pc and go to start and run.  type in ipconfig and press enter.  your conna need to input the DNS servers into the 360.  then test connection.  you should be good to go after this.  good luck.

PS  dont you love how people give answers with no thought that takes like 3 secs to type and doesnt help answer the question lol  sorry it just pisses me off alittle
