XBox 360 L button?

Ok So i got the 360 yesturday and i got GTA 4 too. Ok so how to you sound the horn when your in a car. Iam on this mission and it says to press l But i cant find the L.

The L on the xbox 360 controller is the bottom left trigger if u turn the controller upside down u see 2 triggers the left 1 (when the controller is in its normal position)is the left trigger
