XD card reformat issues?

My xD card tells me to reformat and won't work when I have it in the digital camera. Are there any ways to get my pictures off the card? Reformat means that I Loose all data. Help!

Buy a card reader for your computer and read the card there.  Your computer won't be quite as picky about the format so you might be able to still see the pictures there.
