XM Radio to launch George Strait Channel?

i have a Sirius would that maybe work for xm? i don't know much about these things, i won the sirius at are Wal-Mart christmas party. and i have never used it

  1. No.  Sirius radios can only get Sirius channels, and XM radios can only get XM channels.

    If they merge you will not get all of Sirius and all of XM on your current radio though.  You can only get what you currently get.


  2. I've not heard of the addition of the G.S. Channel.. But this would be a PLUS ... I too am hoping of the present merger of XM & Sirius to close with an approval with no strings attached. The problem is with the DOJ & FCC with Terrestrial radio, Clear Channel and Special interest groups opposing the merger with the notion that this merger would harm the public.

  3. BUT they are planning to merge, they are just waiting for the Goverment to give them the ok, it was suppose to happen in December we are all waiting.
