I'm trying to listen to xm radio online on my mac, and it works fine for a little while, it'll play the music, but then it thinks it's at the "end of the song" and just stops.

Is there a way to get quicktime to continuously stream it so it doesn't stop after a while?

  3. Actually you can use XM Online on both platforms. It's not as easy on a Mac because Microsoft is no longer supporting upgrades for WMP, but if you visit the MS site, you can find out about other options. Likewise the XM site.

As long as you are usng Mac OSX, you should be fine.

I'd suggest going over the FAQs on the XM website, many of your questions were answered there. It is possible your bandwidth is not set correctly and you need to adjust it downward. Both links are below.

Good Luck on your Mac or PC
