XP Antivirus?

I have gotten rid of it twice but it keeps coming back

I used super anti spyware and scanned many times

but it never completely goes away

how can I remove it for good?

Spybot will remove it for good, it did for my sister when I removed it. Here's the link to download it for free.

Way to avoid this from happening again.

1. Run your anti-virus program at least once a week.

2. Run spyware protection at least once a week

3. Don't open SPAM mail.

4. Only go to trusted sties.

5. Avoid using programs like limewire and torrernts.

use super antispyware but before that you have to pugre system restore points.That parasite use the system restore utility to regenerate itself every time you restart the computer. Go to start/programs/ accessories/ system tools / system restore and temporarily shut it off.After that run a full scan again

I had the same thing 6 months ago with xp...I had a few trojans and spyware that kept throwing pop ups even though I had a new and updated version of Norton that had been installed about 2 months prior to my problem.  Norton and there tech support were of no help.  Here is what I did.  I went to AVAST.COM  on the net of course and downloaded their free home edition.  It scanned my computer when it was done it isolated and those items that could not be deleted it put into a chest that kept my computer running smooth.  It is free for something like 30 days and then you need to get a key ...number entry from them which is also free and by the way canned be used on at least 3 computers provided they are for home use.  Good luck and I hope this does it for you.
