I used Kantaris and other video players which work fine on my computer. However when I connect the cable to my tv using the s-video or using a projector the video player screen is black even though the movie is playing. If I play the movie in windows media player it displays fine. Why will my other video players not display when connected to an external monitor?

  1. You have to find out what display resolution your TV is, and set the player to match it. Using sVideo, it's probably 720h x 480v or 640h x 480v.
