XXI Pan Am Junior 2012: Lorraynny Vicente knocks down Daniela Macias in Women’s Singles encounter
Lorraynny Vicente, a spirited shuttler from Brazil, entertained her fans by putting up tremendous show of top quality badminton when she knocked down Daniela Macias of Peru in Women’s Singles encounter at the XXI Pan Am junior 2012 on Tuesday, July 24, in
Canada.
Lorraynny, who played probably the best badminton of her career, put up staggering show of quality game against Daniela and overpowered her in a remarkable manner without losing any game to her.
The in-form Lorraynny was in full swing as she played killing badminton throughout the contest and easily ended it up in straight games in just 20 minutes with a one-sided margin on the score board.
Daniele, on the contrary, failed to show her class against the in-form Lorraynny as she could not play her normal game and remained struggling in putting up strong resistance. She lost the match in just 20 minutes without winning any game.
It was Lorraynny who remained in complete control of the pace from the starting points of opening game.
However, Daniela also showed a few glimpses of her brilliance and made the score levelled by reaching at 7-7.
At the stage, Lorraynny played with aggression and control which helped her to take a four-point advantage by reaching at 11-7 until the one-minute break.
After the interval, Lorraynny accelerated her speed on court while playing with impressive precision and stretched her lead.
The wonderful variations in Lorraynny’s shots helped her to take the first game with a stunning 21-9 score on the board.
In the second game, Lorraynny showed urgency in setting up an early lead as she played attacking badminton from the starting rallies and took a comfortable lead.
The in-form Lorraynny was on driving seat in the second game as she set up a huge gap of 11-6 until the mid-game interval.
After the break, Lorraynny continued showing her lofty craft on court without dropping the pace of rallies and eventually ended up the second set with an inspiring score of 21-11.
Lorraynny thrashed Daniela in a ruthless manner in straight sets with a killing 21-9 and 21-11 margin on the score board.
