XYZ Dragon cannon?

Question

It has to do with the light hex seals, although i've been to many tournaments (mostly hobbies), my team who have played since the game came out says that i can use light hex seals to substitute, although im quite spectacle. Like on wikia, they said like i cant use goddess of the third eye, but then again im still not sure. anyone wanna help? maybe we can email and then talk about it in more detail, like the cards in the deck, ect...

while the hex seals can be used for substitutes for monsters.

in this case they can be.

b/c it says you dont use poly. so in that case you must use the x head cannon y dragon head and z metal tank parts.

though for the elemental heroes you can use a hex seal fusion b/c it doesnt say that it must be the above fusion monsters.
