Question:

X_x Help with packing?

I'm off to Canada for two weeks, this Monday..

And I just realised that I haven't even packed properly, and now I'm panicking.

Are there any essentials that I may have forgotten, help! Sensible suggestions please. Lol.

Also, is there anything that I can get for the relatives that we're staying with? I think they're a couple in their late 20's; early 30's, and they have no children. Any suggestions on something I can get them, that they wouldn't have over there?

I heard they don't have Cadbury's Chocolate, but I'm afrad that would melt. Hmm?

Cheers. <3

  1. OK - calm down, the more you panic the more likely you are to forget something. Go through your daily routine in your head and pack your toiletries in this way. i.e. get up wash face (face wash, flannel, moisturiser), brush teeth (toothbrush, floss, mouthwash), shower (shower gel, sponge, shampoo, conditioner, brush), perfume, deodorant, body moisturiser, hairspray, mousse, make-up, jewellry. The on to clothes, think of things you could wear more than once as you're staying with someone you can wash and re-wear them with something else. Try to bring things in neutral colours such as navy, white, beige so they all match. One pair of shoes for walking, another for going out in. A nice going out outfit, underwear, swimwear and nightwear. Any medication, sunglasses, coat. Roll your clothes rather than folding them. They crease less and take up less room. As for British things you can bring to Canada, what about a box of Walker's Shortbread and some PG tips teabags. Also anything in a carrier bag from where you are locally (such as a Harrods bag) would be appreciated.

  2. Clothes

    makeup

    toothbrush/toothpaste/mouthwash

    any necessary medicines

tampons/pads (trust me you DON'T want to be caught without them!)

    hairbrush

    shampoo/conditner

    swimsuit

    camera

    iPod

stuff to do on the plane

Shoes (I'd get a pair of tennis shoes, flip flops, and another dressy-ish pair)

    socks

    undies

    pajamas

Try to get them something the whole family would enjoy...like a hardback book about America for their coffe table, a game, a CD or movie...etc.

  3. I'm in Canada right now, and I know your problem with the gifts. You can bring chocolate in your check-in luggage since it will get pretty cold in the bottom of the plane. You can also consider bringing it in your carry-on luggage; it is allowed.

See the links below for a checklist and a carry-on checklist, good luck!

  4. try onebag.com :) chill everythin will be fine. Btw I LOVE ur pic its so funny :D :D :D
