The veteran midfielder has jumped to the defence of the Special One, as he went on to assert that the Portuguese tactician has already cemented a place in history.

The Spaniard’s statement come following a verbal attack by Xavi which was targeted at Mourinho. The Barca number 6 had claimed that the veteran trainer’s focus on getting results is something that may constrain him from being remembered.
According to Xavi, the Special One has his focus set on achieving results and making speculations. He asserted that this is something that shows Mourinho’s inability to make his place in history of the beautiful game.
However, Xabi Alonso has voiced his contradictory views, stressing that the Portuguese mentor has achieved a lot more than other managers and will surely leave a great impact on the sport.
In addition to this, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 man also emphasized that his side’s mentor has a great influence on Los Blancos and will be missed if he parts ways with the Spanish capital-based outfit.
While talking to reporters, the 30-year-old was quoted as saying:
"Mourinho has already made history, and he's continuing to do so. His track record speaks for itself. Not many coaches have achieved what he has done. If he were to leave Madrid, his absence will be felt. It will be difficult to replace him."
The technically gifted midfielder than went on to discuss the fact that he is quite pleased with matters at his current club as he enjoys playing for Los Vikingos.
"I feel important at Madrid. I am feeling very well at Madrid. I have reached a certain point of maturity and I'm in no hurry to make decisions about my future," he said.
