The Euro 2012 winner has been linked with a move to Italy with AC Milan keeping tabs on his situation in the Spanish capital.
Jose Mourinho’s favourite midfielder, Xabi http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alonso-c5254, has been linked with a sensational move to AC Milan, as the Rossoneri look to reinforce their squad after stumbling against Juventus in Serie A title race.
Inaki Ibanez, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Xabi-Alonso-c37045’s agent, came out in the open to talk about the possibility of his client moving away from the Santiago Bernabeu, rejecting any transfer moves linked with his client. He stated that his Alonso is content with life in the Spanish
capital.
Continuing on the topic, Ibanez claimed that transfer suggestions regarding Alonso have been produced by the rumour mill and he has no desire of parting company with Los Blancos.
The witty agent questioned the merits of the speculation regarding his client, pointing towards the immense success he has enjoyed with Real Madrid and Spanish national team, being crowned Spain and European champion in the process.
Ibanez added that Alonso still has two more years left on his contract with the Capital club and will see out the remaining time.
“Xabi is a Real Madrid player and he will continue as such”, Ibanez said while talking to spaziomilan.it.
“There is absolutely no truth in this story of Milan’s interest in Xabi. The player has just been crowned European champion with Spain, he still has more two years left on his contract at Real Madrid and he plays in the best league in the world. Why would
he want to leave? This story doesn’t have a leg to stand on.”
Representative of the Spanish midfielder was irked with the transfer speculation, blaming the vast numbers of media outlets for such linkages that have no valid foundation.
“There are too many newspapers, both in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926. They write things that are untrue. The only truth is that Xabi Alonso is going nowhere”, Ibanez remarked.
After coming through the youth ranks of Real Sociedad, Alonso enjoyed a magnanimous return with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in the English Premier League and made his return to the Iberian Peninsula with Real Madrid in a 35 million Euros transfer.
