The master tactician and destructive creator, Xavi Hernandez, has given his opinion on the similarities and differences between former Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola, and current one, Tito Vilanova.

It all started with Mourinho when he said that his record-breaking Real Madrid side are not getting the recognition they deserve.
And it was the Barcelona master passer and creator, Xavi Hernandez, who had the perfect answer for Mourinho.
Although Xavi respects 'The Special One' but he nonetheless feels the Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, doesn’t suit Barcelona and therefore believes he is not the man for his team.
“Mourinho would not fit our club,” he told Radio Catalunya. “I have affection for him as he has been in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 now for three years, but his football is not the style that we want,” he explained.
He also said that Real Madrid’s style of play is more of a 'wait-and-see' game and that Real are more of a counter-attacking side which he believes will never suit his Barcelona side.
“[Real Madrid’s] game is more about speculating, waiting for the counter-attack, and so I do not think they will go down in history,” he continued.
The 32-year-old Spanish international also commented on the differences between former Barca coach, Pep Guardiola, and his current boss, Tito Vilanova, suggesting that although each coach works in his own way but they are more or less the same with just
slight differences in the tactical side.
“Pep and Tito, aside from a few differences in tactical issues, are almost equal. Guardiola was closer in training, and Vilanova is more distant, but they transmit ideas in their own way,” he said.
Finally, when Xavi was asked about who was the best player in the world; it was clear where his heart is. He believes without a shadow of a doubt that his team-mate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296, is the greatest player the world has ever seen and that those who really know
about football will agree with his choice.
“He is the best player by far, the number one in history ahead of Maradona, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pele-c40189 and Cruyff,” Xavi concluded.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 will travel to Riazor Stadium for their next La Liga match on Saturday, October 20.
