Xavi Hernandez apologizes to Arsenal over Cesc Fabregas comments
Barcelona midfielder and Spanish international, Xavi Hernandez has gone on to issue an apology to Arsene Wenger and Arsenal, over his recent comments regarding Cesc Fabregas.
Xavi went on to add fuel to the Fabregas – Barcelona fire, as he stated that Arsenal were making Fabregas suffer, by not letting him come back to Barcelona.
Arsene Wenger seemed to take offence to the midfielder’s words and went on to label him as being highly disrespectful.
In response to Arsene Wenger’s outburst, Xavi seemed to come to terms with the fact that his words might have been a littler harsh. He then went on to state that he didn’t mean much harm, as he was just trying to say what he felt was in the best interest
of Fabregas.
Xavi is quoted to have said: “It seems absurd to me.”
“I was only acting in the interest of Cesc and of Barca. But that’s that and I really don’t want to get into a war of words with Wenger.
“I didn’t want to offend anyone.”
“I don’t really know the situation but it seems they are more disposed to sell this year than last year.
“Maybe we can be a bit more optimistic but it depends on reaching an agreement with Arsenal.”
Barcelona have gone on to pursue Fabregas once again this season, following them falling out on two occasions in the past. The Catalans went on to make offers for the payer, but all their efforts have so far fallen short.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have gone on to establish a price tag of forty million pounds for their captain and have stated that they are not willing to listen to any offers below that, price.
Despite http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 having stated that they wish to land Fabregas, they almost always seem to be reluctant to pay full price for the player, which seems to be rather odd. The team say they want something and when they are asked to come and get it, they seem
to always pull out, because they don’t’ get the bargain that they are looking for.
According to experts, Barcelona seem to be a team that are now so overcome with power, that they feel they can go about doing anything, without any consequences. Their players seem t always go ahead and target a player, in case the team wants to land him
and the governing bodies of football just sit back and watch.
That being said, this apology from Xavi, could prove to be nothing more than a distraction, in order for the team to go ahead and pull of another sneaky attack of Arsenal.
